When a product isminty, I feel like it doesn’t have as pleasant of a scent, but this one is really nice. I also like that it doesn’t leave a film on your lips. There are a few I’ve tried that do that to me.Growing up, my dad and I would be going to a soccer game, and I would chew some Extra gum on the way. Polar Ice is a flavor that I grew up on, so it has a little bit of nostalgia to it. The flavor lasts a long time and I like that it isn’t an overpowering peppermint. It’s a little sweeter. Now I’ll usually pop a stick on car rides. Unfortunately, I have a bad habit of doing it right before red carpet interviews. The other day I saw an interview I did where I was chewing gum and I’m like,This stuff is great on my hair. They use it on set every single day. It really works for my curls. I usually put it on after a shower, like if I’m freshening up before an event. And then as it’s damp and drying, I’ll apply it and use a diffuser on it, andI wouldn’t call myself a photographer, but I think “amateur hobbyist” fits for me. I bought this camera a long time ago and it sat on my nightstand for a while. And then I booked a backpacking trip across Europe and a little bit of Asia, and I was like,They can be great, especially with the new iPhones, but I wanted something that can really capture the moment in a unique and special way. I love the way the Fujifilm replicates the qualities of a good film photo. So I started taking it with me everywhere, and now anytime I’m at a concert or something, usually the first comment is like, “There’s Gavin and his camera.”I have many hobbies, and one of them is volleyball. I was inspired by a video I saw on Instagram of this couple who played volleyball in every single city they traveled to. My wife and I, we met and got to know each other through volleyball. So we always travel with a volleyball in our suitcase, and if we’re ever bored, we’ll either play outside at a park or we’ll just play in the hotel room, which oftentimes leads to really funny moments.I don’t know what I would do without coffee, honestly. I probably drink four or five cups a day. I know that’s unhealthy, and my mom reading this is going to tell me to cut it out. But I love coffee, and I get very particular about my coffee. I’m very specific about the beans and the grinder and the temperature of the water. I have a little Breville espresso-maker. My friends will sometimes just come over and make me a coffee. Some of them are baristas, so they’ll make these really nice fancy drinks, and it’s always something I look forward to.It’s super important to take care of your skin and make sure it’s hydrated and protected. It helps with aging, it helps you look younger longer. Especially for me; I’m super active and always out and about, and I need to wear sunscreen while I’m surfing and doing all the things. Lately, I’ve been using Origins. They have a pretty good sunscreen that I like. I’ve used Supergoop before, and I really like them as well. I have a little section in my bathroom for different sunscreens, and I just pick which one speaks to me that day. Normally I don’t apply the same sunscreen to both my face and body, but in dire situations, I probably do.When I used to have AirPods, I’d be walking in public and people would be saying my name, but I couldn’t hear them. And they couldn’t see that I had AirPods in, because they’re pretty small, and they’d come up and grab me. So I was like,. I did some research and found these, tried them, and loved them. They’re so comfortable. The volume goes up so loud. The bass, the sound quality is so good. And they fold, so they’re compact and easy to bring around.Oliver Peoples makes a fantastic, high-quality product. I love the sunglasses so much, I have a full drawer just dedicated to them. I pair them with every single outfit. They’re a neutral staple for me. I go for more of a square shape with sunglasses. I find that round doesn’t necessarily look good with my face shape.It’s the only deodorant I’ve found that actually works for the long days I usually have. On set, you’re working for anywhere from 12 to 15 hours, so, you know, you gotta have something that lasts. I get the Cool Rush scent.Typically, I’m traveling a whole lot, and your face can get puffy. I already naturally have a baby face, so any puffiness doesn’t help. I use this wand and it kind of gives you a lymphatic massage, but with the cold tip it also tightens the skin and makes you look a little bit more fresh and awake. I use it pretty often — at least every other day, if not every day. Usually in the morning, before I have work or a photo shoot, for about five to seven minutes.Viktor & Rolf has been an amazing company to partner with creatively. It’s funny because I realized the first time I’d ever seen Spicebomb was in my dad’s cologne collection. It was his fragrance growing up, the Spicebomb Extreme specifically.
