Fans from across the country, including Duke and Ole Miss supporters, traveled to Jacksonville for the game. Many were visiting the city for the first time. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deployed officers on bikes and horseback, as well as K-9 units.
Fans also passed through metal detectors as part of the game-day security protocols. Despite the heightened security, the event brought together fans for a memorable and safe game day experience
