Cancelled event? DTI sets up refund scheme COVID19 COVID19Quarantine

"Minarapat po natin, para naman po, in the spirit of bayanihan, mabalanse ang mga taong nagpareserba at ang mga negosyante," sinabi sa Teleradyo ni Marimel Porciuncula mula sa Consumer Protection and Advocacy Bureau ng DTI. Dagdag pa ni DTI Undersecretary Ruth Castelo, kabilang sa mga event na ito ang mga birthday, anniversary, wedding, binyag, seminar, workshop, team building, at conference. Kasama sa mga serbisyo ang rental ng venue, bayad sa catering, at pag-arkila ng mga sasakyan at iba pang gamit. "Kahit na may existing contract, depende na sa goodwill ng parties puwede nilang i-apply itong memorandum circular," aniya.
Sa ilalim ng circular, ito ang mga hakbang na kailangang sundin ng mga customer at negosyante para sa refund:
