Motorists shall expect mixed movements on pump prices in the coming week, according to oil industry sources.

Citing oil trading in the past four days, Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau Director Rino Abad told GMA News Online that there is a high indication of price increase for gasoline and kerosene.Meanwhile, an oil industry source said that the price per liter of diesel may be slashed by P0.10 to P0.30, while gasoline prices may hike by P0.70 to P0.90 per liter.

The Energy official said the projected price adjustments are still subject to change, depending on the results of Friday’s oil trading.Effective Tuesday, November 8, fuel firms implemented a P1.40 per liter increase for gasoline and a rollback per liter of P0.50 and P0.35 for diesel and kerosene, respectively.

Year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P17.25 per liter for gasoline, P36.30 per liter for diesel, and P28.60 per liter for kerosene.
