Average gasoline prices in Columbus rose 5.8 cents per gallon over the last week, averaging $3.62 for a gallon of regular unleaded on Monday, according to GasBu

Prices in Columbus are 7.8 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 7.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Columbus was priced at $3.06 on Sunday, and the most expensive was $3.79. The lowest price around the state Sunday was $2.89 and the highest was $5.49.

The national average price of gasoline fell 3.5 cents per gallon since last week, averaging $3.55.
