Golden State Warriors will be without Gary Payton II in addition to Draymond Green in Game 3 against Sacramento Kings
SAN FRANCISCO — Gary Payton II will miss the Warriors’ crucial Game 3 of their first round playoff series against the Sacramento Kings with an illness. The illness kept Payton from practice on Wednesday, head coach Steve Kerr said.
But both were active for a crucial game with the Warriors down two games to none, Kerr said. The Warriors opted for offense by playing a hobbled Poole alongside Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Kevon Looney in the starting lineup to make up for Draymond Green’s absence.
