“DJ G-Dog' has made his first festival appearance
Former Manchester United player Gary Neville swapped the pitch for the decks at the weekend as he performed a massive DJ set to more than 40,000 people.
During the set at the Cumbrian festival, Gary was seen heading an inflatable beach ball into the packed-out crowd and taking photos of the audience enjoying the good vibes. He also managed to wrangle in a bit of dancing on the spot during the performance. “I'm actually DJing with Tim at Kendal Calling, I mean… what the hell am I doing?' I'm trying to wangle my way out of it, but I can't once I've said yes to something.
"The last time we shared a stage was when he joined The Charlatans on guitar. Can't promise we'll be doing any songs together but there might be an impromptu singalong at some point."
