There's some good news for Snow Patrol fans as the band continues work on a new album that they hope to release next year.
Founded in 1994 at the University of Dundee, Snow Patrol rose to fame in the 2000s as part of the post Britpop movement. And in a message to fans eagerly awaiting new music, he said: "I'm co-writing with a lot of different artists at the moment and then we're working on the Snow Patrol record, the next one, and that's coming along very nicely.
During the interview, Gary also gave his verdict on Nadine Coyle's new single, 'If I Lay Here ', her take on Snow Patrol's famous track. He said: "I didn't know her but we did correspond back and forth at one point but that was many years ago. She was a visionary, singular voice, an extraordinary human and one of the greatest singing voices that has ever graced the planet. I love her music and her spirit very much."
