Who could ever have imagined that the wife of Take That's Gary Barlow would have a link to an often-derided cheesy 1980s TV star? Certainly not his many fans, it seems!
The 80s were a time of crazy pop, fun cartoons and wacky fashion, when anything seemed possible. Even an off-the-wall children's television presenter could have a smash hit No1 song.
With his stardom at its peak, music moguls were keen to team up with him and in 1990, an unknown band called Bombalurina did just that. In the iconic video, Timmy rocks his signature vibrant specs and is flanked by two dancers who amp up the fun factor in the eye-catching visual feast. Gary, who underwent an impressive transformation after Take That split in 1996, responded to the tweet with a cheeky okay sign and a heart emoji.
