Former England manager Gareth Southgate could make a surprise return to the Premier League amid links to Manchester United and one other shock club.
Gareth Southgate is reportedly in contention o join a shock Premier League club just three months after stepping down as England manager following the 2024 European Championship.As it stands, the London club sit 18th in the Premier League table with three points from eight matches and are yet to win a match in the competition this season for the first time since 1992.
Prior to taking on the job with the Three Lions, Southgate's only role as a manager was with Middlesbrough, who he managed for three years between 2006 and 2009 before being dismissed in October 2009 shortly after the club had been relegated from the Premier League.
