A man has already been arrested and charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Kathleen Furlong
Gardai in Dublin are appealing to the public for information on a red car in relation to a recent hit-and-run in Tallaght which claimed the life of an elderly woman.
Philip Ormond, 42, was arrested by gardai at 10.15pm Saturday night and after he was charged and cautioned, he replied: "I'm sorry." Gardai have now issued an appeal for information on the activity of a small, red hatchback Ford Focus in the area of Cheeverstown Road and the N81 in Tallaght on the morning of the incident, September 8.
