Garbage can-chucking attackers stab man three times near heart of Times Square, police say
Police are looking for a group of people they say beat and stabbed a 36-year-old man just a block from the heart of Times Square.
Investigators say the victim got into an argument with the group around 3:15 a.m. April 30 on Eighth Avenue. Another group ran over and began punching and kicking the victim, cops said. They also threw a garbage can at him and stabbed him three times.
