Geoff Keighley has said that this year's Opening Night Live at Gamescom will mostly feature updates on some of the 'biggest games' coming in the next year.
Opening Night Live kicks off this year's Gamescom fun next Tuesday, August 22, and ahead of the event, host and producer Geoff Keighley has revealed that this year's Opening Night Live will mostly focus on updates for already announced games, instead of a stream of fresh announcements.
While Summer Game Fest is focused on world premiere announcements from around the world, Keighly says Opening Night Live presents an opportunity to have a show"directly tied to the partners and games that will be exhibiting at Gamescom. We’re always trying to find ways to create synergy between what’s happening on the floor and inside ONL.
