SEATTLE — A Seattle business owner whose retro video game store was broken into less than three weeks ago has been hit again.Spencer shared the video of the smash-and-grab burglary.Now Spencer is offering a $10,000 reward to catch the person responsible. In the surveillance video, it appears to show the same thief canvassing the area and then returning to smash his way into a nearby camera store.
Spencer said he’s been at the location for 17 years, saying things have been mostly calm up until now.After the first break-in, Spencer said the stolen products were worth about $8,000. He also said that number didn’t take into account the time that he and employees spent researching, buying, and cleaning the merchandise — some of which were imported from overseas.
