SDSU leads 18-10 but has lost three of the last four at ExtraMile Arena. The Aztecs won 72-52 at Viejas Arena on Feb. 3.They have already clinched at least a share of the Mountain West Conference title and likely the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, no matter what happens in their final two games. Win either of them, and they’re outright champions. They won the first meeting with full-court pressure on freshman guard Jace Whiting, who started in place of injured Marcus Shaver Jr.

They mathematically still can share the conference title but require wins in their last two games and an SDSU loss against Wyoming on Saturday at Viejas Arena. More pressing is not falling to the No.
