Game of Thrones is returning to finish its various wars in season 8, but it's missing one important thing for its return.
I kept forgetting about Euron when making this list which should tell you how much of an impact he’s had on the show to this point, and I’m not sure how muchof an impact he can have with just six episodes left.
There are some rumblings that we will have some last-minute backstabbings, but I just can’t buy ideas like say, Sansa suddenly becoming a villain and turning on Jon. It’s too late for that to feel remotely effective and wouldn’t work at all.Game of Thrones has lost too many of its best villains in ways that have been too neat and tidy. What the show did with Littlefinger in particular was inexcusable, as he’s a player that absolutely should have been around for the final conflict here. Ramsay and the Freys would have been good wildcards as well. But we’ll work with who is left, I suppose, and see what happens next.
