Based on the Dunk and Egg novellas by George R.R. Martin, the upcoming series is set a century before Game of Thrones and follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall, a brave yet inexperienced knight, and his small squire, Egg.
In addition to the first-look image, HBO also announced that filming is officially underway on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms in Belfast.
