Connor Bouchard had a pair of goals for the Cougars, including a penalty shot in the third period while the Huskies were on a power play. Shane Farkus allowed five goals on 23 shots before being replaced by Jackson Berry, who stopped all 10 shots that he faced. Saskatchewan finished fifth in the regular season standings with a 14-11-3 record. Mount Royal was fourth at 19-5-4.
