The city of Galveston is giving residents a heads-up after some have reportedly experienced discoloration in their drinking water.

City officials said that residents may notice some discoloration to the tap water at their homes or place of business Monday morning.Municipal Services crews are out flushing and testing the lines, and the water quality has been deemed safe for consumption. Crews will continue this work until we see water clarity in the system.
