A report even suggested that Samsung decided to manufacture the Galaxy S25 Slim only after confirming Apple's plans for a super-thin iPhone 17 Air.

Since then, the first Galaxy S25 Slim renders have appeared online, showcasing Samsung's design for the handset. However, first impressions suggest the Galaxy S25 Slim is lackluster in terms of design. It's not a revolutionary design, but rather a standard Galaxy S phone with a slimmer profile. There's nothing inherently wrong with this approach. Leaker @OnLeaks, in collaboration with SmartPrix, published the Galaxy S25 Slim renders. Without prior knowledge, one might mistake it for the Galaxy S25 or S25 Plus due to its unassuming appearance. The renders don't fully highlight the thinness, making it look similar to the non-Ultra Galaxy S phones released in recent years.The Galaxy S25 Slim's design appears unremarkable because it borrows heavily from the Galaxy S25 and previous Galaxy S models. It features a flat screen, flat sides, and a flat back, accompanied by rounded corners, a hole-punch display, and ultra-thin bezels. It's a typical design for Samsung's flagship lineup. However, it's worth noting that we've reached a plateau in smartphone design. Breakthroughs are scarce, and 'boring' is acceptable as long as manufacturers focus on enhancing user experiences and addressing consumer concerns. Similar to how the iPhone saw incremental changes over the years, Samsung's approach to traditional smartphones aligns with this notion. The Galaxy S25 Slim will be a conventional phone.
