Gabriel tells Nick worried about Claim to Fame.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT On the Claim to Fame season 2 finale, winner Gabriel was revealed to be actor, rapper, and host of The Masked Singer Nick Cannon's younger brother, and he now shares that Nick was worried about him doing the show. Gabriel won Claim to Fame season 2 after 10 weeks of competition. He impressively won six challenges in total, which was the most out of all of his competitors.
In an interview with EW, Gabriel confessed that, at first, Nick was "skeptical" about him appearing on Claim to Fame. He shared, "He wanted to know more and know what it was." However, Gabriel revealed that he thought that Nick "secretly went off and watched the first season because his mood switched about it. [He learned that] it wasn't me putting out his dirty laundry. I know there was one scene when I did, but, you know, it wasn't messy.
Gabriel deserved to win Claim to Fame. He not only won the most challenges, but he had a wonderful social game. He was funny and personable, and stayed loyal to his allies. Although he and Chris had a falling out, they sincerely apologized to each other, and they were able to get past it. Chris thought that Karsyn was leaving, so he showed her Gabriel's clue to try to get some information from her, even though he'd promised to keep it secret.
Gabriel surely made the Cannon family proud. He was respectful about Nick's life, and very proud of his career and accomplishments. It was apparent that they have a good relationship. Gabriel should be very proud of what he achieved on Claim to Fame season 2. He's said that he'd love to follow in his brother's footsteps and become a host. His diary room sessions with their hilarious commentary proved that he'd be terrific at it.
