for another stand-up comedy special,The special will be filmed at the Tobin Center for Performing Arts in San Antonio, Texas, where the comedian and actor is performing four weeks of sold-out shows. The special will be filmed on the last night of that run.
“This is the longest time I’ve been away from my fans in decades. I’m extremely grateful to be able to come out of forced retirement. Since I realized how much I miss and need all my fans around the world. I’m waxed and vaxed, ready to return to the stage,” Iglesias said in a statement.: I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry” in 2016 and his most recent one was Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias: One Show Fits All” in 2019. He also stars in and executive produces the sitcom “Mr. Iglesias” for the streamer, which launched its third season in December. Iglesias has more than two decades of comedy under his belt, from series such as “All That” in 2000 to competing on “Last Comic Standing” in 2006. In 2011 he had a stand-up comedy showcase on Comedy Central and currently he also hosts Nickelodeon’s competition program “Unleashed.” In addition to live-action performances, he has lent his voice to projects including “Family Guy,” “Planes” and the upcoming “Space Jam: A New Legacy,” in which he voices Speedy Gonzalez, and in “Blazing Samurai,” an animated action-adventure comedy inspired by “Blazing Saddles.”Iglesias is repped by Arsonhouse Entertainment, CAA and Hirsch Wallerstein Hayum Matlof + Fishman.
