"Parasites Regained" Continues Season 3's Sci-Fi Parody Trend On top of the story connections, "Parasites Regained" also carries on another aspect of season 3's "Parasites Lost." The story of "Parasites Lost" is actually a parody of the 1966 sci-fi movie Fantastic Voyage, in which a group of scientists has to shrink down and enter a CIA agent in order to repair a blood clot.
