"Southwest allowed us to fly in this exact situation," one commenter wrote."We had one twin as a lap infant and the other in a car seat. We were all in the same row. "Gotta say, as a sleep-deprived parent of infant twins, odds are good I would've just started sobbing in this situation." In an update delivered via the comments, the OP revealed that flight attendants eventually reunited the family mid-flight. "Everyone sitting in the area was very happy for them," they wrote, adding,"I was glad to see it corrected and hope the parents still report and receive some compensation."
