The Sheffield Wednesday manager was not happy at the amount of added time played at the end of the first half
Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl was furious over the amount of extra time played by referee Sam Allison at the end of the first half, which allowed Leeds United to break the deadlock in Friday night's 2-0 win at Hillsborough.
The first half ran over after Firpo and Leeds defender Joe Rodon had clashed heads following a Wednesday cross, with both requiring lengthy treatment. Four minutes of added time was shown, but Rohl, who remained proud of his side's efforts, felt the referee allowed the game to continue for even longer, and that the half should have ended well before Bamford's goal.
"It was a key point," he said. "Of course he showed four minutes and then it was four minutes more - and everyone can think about if this is a key moment. "Maybe a decision against us and today we can speak about this. This is football, we have to take it and keep going."
