Screen Rant is pleased to announce a new Pops! With Purpose collection from Funko and Color Compton, featuring two iconic figures with strong ties to Los Angeles. Originally founded in 1998, Funko has only grown in reputation over the years, becoming a sought-after source for collectibles pertaining to everything from film and television to video games and real-world figures.
Many Funko Pops are true collector's items, with values of over $10,000. Funko will donate $10 from each purchase of the limited-edition figures in this new collection to Color Compton, an organization dedicated to uplifting students in the Compton community by exposing them to arts and history. Color Compton was founded in 2019 by Abigail Lopez-Byrd, who serves as the group's Executive Director. Rapper Eazy-E is best known for his work with the massively influential hip-hop group N.W.A., though he also worked both as a producer and a solo act. He is credited as the "godfather of gangsta rap" and is the subject of documentaries and the Oscar-nominated film Straight Outta Compton. Venus Williams was also recently portrayed on the big screen in the film King Richard, and is of course known worldwide to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Funko Pops!
