A public memorial will be held Monday at the Short North Pint House for manager Gregory Coleman Jr., 37, who died Sept. 18 from Labor Day assault.

A funeral service will be held Saturday for Gregory Coleman Jr., who was fatally assaulted Labor Day in the Short North and later died on Sept. 18.

Coleman, a former football player at Iowa State and the University of Montana, worked as a manager at Short North Pint House, located a few blocks way on North High Street, and had left work shortly before the assault occurred. Cummings was arrested Thursday on a charge of murder and is currently being held in the Franklin County jail in lieu of a $1 million bond.
