The hope is they can raise enough money to purchase an off-road wheelchair to help little Harlie McFarlane live life in the great outdoors.

An Ayrshire village and a dairy supplier are spearheading two amazing fundraising challenges - to help a six year-old girl with a rare genetic condition.

But her rare genetic condition means she cannot walk, is PEG fed and is at the developmental stage of a one year old.Justin, 53, who works for Ayr-based Fullwood Dairy Supplies, said: “We love to get out and about as a family, and up until recently I have mainly carried Harlie in a backpack.Get all the local news in your area – plus features, football news and the latest on the coronavirus crisis – at your fingertips 24/7.
