A fire company is still moving forward with a fundraising picnic despite being terminated from operating in the township amid a racial discrimination investigat
ion.
Now, an annual fundraising picnic that the former fire company hosts every year, is set to still happen on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. even though the station is no longer in operation. We also asked Tuckey where he believes the money from the fundraiser would be going to since the organization is no longer in operation:
