William Cunningham tallies a 732 three-game set to help St. Joseph's (Met.) win the Blue Devil Classic for the second year in a row.
Losing did not sit lightly last week with St. Joseph’s Metuchen, the No. 1 ranked team in the NJ.com Top 20, after losing to No. 16 Howell in the Baker final at the Marisa Tufaro Classic.
“At full force, I think we’re the best team in the state,” Thomsen said after St. Joseph’s won the Blue Devil Classic. “I like how we performed today, especially after losing last week.” St. Joseph’s is averaging over 3,747 pins as a team through its six dual matches and two tournaments so far this season.
Delbarton topped No. 18 Bayonne in the last game to take second place in the tournament. St. Peter’s Prep rounded out the top-four teams on the boys side.
