While dry conditions are forecast for Greater Manchester, other parts of the country are being hit by heavy rain
The downpours come after Storm Bert caused 'severe disruption' across much of the country last weekend as it brought 80mph winds, snowfall and heavy showers. Hundreds of homes and roads were left flooded, including in some parts of Greater Manchester on Saturday and Sunday.
Almost 100 flood warnings remain in place across the country. A further 156 alerts for possible flooding have been issued.
