Full list of Trump allies gunning for RNC chair as party divide deepens

If Ronna McDaniel is reelected as the head of the RNC, she would be the longest-serving chair in more than a century.

McDaniel is seeking reelection to her job but is expected to face challenges from Dhillon and Lindell and possibly Zeldin.On Monday, Politico reported that Harmeet Dhillon, an RNC member and lawyer whose firm represents Trump, is planning to make a formal bid for the RNC job within the next few days.

"After three successive terms of underwhelming results at the polls for the GOP, all the while with leaders congratulating ourselves for outstanding performance, I feel that we owe it to our voters to have a serious debate about the leadership of the party and what we must change to actually win in 2024," Dhillon said in a statement.

An official bid for the position would make Dhillon a second Trump ally aiming to unseat McDaniel. Last week, MyPillow CEO
