Full House creator Jeff Franklin reveals the first actor he cast in the cult classic family sitcom, and it isn't who many would assume.

In the late '80s, ABC put out its own spin on a family sitcom with the San Francisco-based comedy. Following the Tanners, Full House was technically an ensemble series, but Franklin knew from the very start that he wanted one actor in the show.
After revealing that Sweetin was the first actor to be cast, Coulier and Franklin both recalled John Stamos being frustrated by getting upstaged at the show's first table read. He was so angry that he almost bailed on playing Uncle Jesse.
