The Fujifilm XApp shows what cameras and lenses users captured their photos and videos with. The app also supports some third-party lenses, according to Fujifilm. “Fujifilm listened carefully to user feedback when developing the Fujifilm XApp. The new XApp has been engineered to provide superior connectivity and a host of useful functions that will enable our users to document, archive, and share photos created on Fujifilm cameras.
While the Camera Remote app still exists, XApp also offers remote control functionality and promises faster performance. The connection process is much easier, with users able to connect their compatible camera to XApp in just a few steps. There’s no need to close and reopen the app or dig into a camera’s menu system. In a live demo before today’s announcement,The app’s interface is also impressive, sporting a sleek, high-contrast look.
