Motorists will be greeted by lower fuel prices next week, according to an oil industry source on Saturday.

In a report on “24 Oras Weekend,” the projected price cuts for diesel and gasoline are P1.10 to P1.50 per liter and P0.80 to P1.20 per liter, respectively.

Meanwhile, the Department of Energy estimated a price drop of up to P1.50 for diesel and P1.20 for gasoline.Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday, to be implemented the following day. —
