But former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes the ball is firmly in Firmino’s court and he wouldn’t blame the 31-year-old for chasing a bigger deal at his age.: “At this point in his contract, he is in control of his own destiny. “He looks happy there and he may want to finish his career there. But, he might want to have one last big move.
“Klopp would obviously like to keep him. Is he at the level he was three years ago? No. He is not essential for Liverpool anymore as much as he is still a brilliant player. He is no longer irreplaceable whereas he was a few seasons ago.
