The 2022 Saskatchewan Amateur women's golf championship and Mid-Am men's championship wraps up at Prince Albert Cooke Municipal Golf Course.
“Yep,” admitted Fry, “but with a three-day tournament, you still have lots of time, even on the last day, so you still have time to push.”
“The first round, I wasn’t very happy and I definitely had to do a lot more focusing on one shot at a time and not be really too worried about the end result way too soon,” added Fry. “One-shot-at-a-time really helped me.” This was her last tournament of the year as she will now focus on hockey for the remainder of the summer.Fry has signed up to play with the Saskatoon AAA Stars next season in the Saskatchewan Female AAA Hockey League and is not golfing quite as much this summer with only 10 rounds or so.Saskatoon’s Sarah Grieve, the first-round leader, finished second behind Fry, five strokes back with a three-day score of 242 .
