Furious residents living on a busy Mapperley road have expressed concern over drivers "tearing up and down the road." Porchester Road is a long stretch of road that connects the Mapperley suburb to Nottingham and to Gedling, existing between both.
"You see it even now it is very busy, this is before the rush hour. But then at night when there are less cars on the road you can hear them tearing all over the place. "It could do with some speed cameras. It's just so blatant how dangerous the driving can be. It speeds up at night when it's quieter - it gets really bad."
