Devine says Glens are architects of their own downfall after late defeat at Ballymena United
Declan Devine has warned his Glentoran side that they need to "learn, and learn fast" after they slipped to their third defeat of the season.
Glentoran boss Devine questioned how his player was dismissed whilst Johnny McMurray escaped a second caution. But his main frustration was with his own players as he felt they shot themselves in the foot once again.Read more: Paddy McCourt's nephew has clear plan as Premier League switch turned down
"It was the same against Crusaders and then last week. We have to learn and learn fast. People have to show more courage and game understanding to make sure that doesn't happen late on. Whilst Devine cut a frustrated figure at the end his opposite number Jim Ervin was delighted with his players as they recorded three league wins on the bounce for the first time in over three years. Kennedy grabbed the headlines once more with his seventh goal of the season, but Ervin praised the team for their efforts
