Because e-commerce was the first sector to create personalization at scale, online customers may mistakenly believe that it is limited to shopping. You buy a product online and the e-commerce giant’s algorithms will recommend items usuallyImagine two fans watching the same football game.

The same pattern may likely happen in sports once personalization practices are implemented at scale. When the fan experience is tailored to the individual, fans may tune in to games more often, watch them for longer and flip to other channels far less. Above all, brands will need to prioritize hiring additional talent that specializes in user experience and design. There are, after all, more opportunities for the user experience to go awry when personalization is involved. A VR feed could glitch or a recommendation engine could suggest irrelevant clips to fans. UI and UX experts create guardrails to create a great user experience for everyone.Organizations need a certain level of maturity to digitize.
