Lincoln's John Dawber Garden has undergone significant transformation just a few months after a charitable trust took over the previously overgrown public space.
In December 2022, the City of Lincoln Council agreed to transfer the garden's care and maintenance under a lease to the Dawber Garden Community Trust. Restoration milestones include renewing the pond with a new liner and stone edging, creating a dedicated garden for children at Westgate Academy, and removing ivy threatening to cause the collapse of pergolas.Lynn Ritson, Chair of the Dawber Garden Community Trust, expressed her gratitude to all the volunteers and supporters.
