His death feels like the loss of a dear friend. I so enjoyed listening to him, no matter what the venue. His excitement about the Browns was contagious, and I turned the TV sound off and listened to him whenever possible. I once had the opportunity to meet one of his predecessors, Gib Shanley, before an Indians game in 1994. I only wish that I could have had the same experience with Jim.
