Stephanie Gray, who organized the outing with her five friends, explained that they had been visiting various small businesses around San Antonio leading up to Christmas, hoping to spread some joy. The group surprised their waitress, Desirae Fannin, by each handing her a $100 bill, totaling $600.
Fannin, who was overwhelmed with emotion, said the unexpected gesture felt like a answered prayer.
