Cassidy Hutchinson told the Jan. 6 committee that Donald Trump knew the mob was armed when he told it to march on the Capitol, saying, “They’re not here to hurt me.” Does that change things?Yes, what we heard this week of Trump’s actions is indefensible. The sitting President saying, “they aren’t here to hurt me” and ignoring the safety of all others is indicative of how self-centered he has always been, caring more about himself than the country.

Q. In Trenton, a record-setting budget with the most spending, the biggest tax cut, and the biggest surplus ever. Democrats said they were responding to the loss of seven seats last year and seeking to make New Jersey more affordable. Will voters see it that way?I am happy about the tax rebates and hope they can continue, but I would like to have seen more permanent tax cuts.
