Friday prayers to go on in Indonesia amid Covid-19 fears

INDONESIA, the world’s most populous Muslim country, is allowing Friday prayers to carry on as usual today despite the World Health Organisation’s Covid-19 pandemic declaration. Religious Affairs Minister Fachrul Razi, in a statement, called on congregants to avoid shaking hands and maintain cleanliness at all times.
