MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Sept. 1 is College Colors Day in Alabama, an annual event meant to promote the traditions, spirit, and value of higher education in Alabama.
On Thursday, Aug. 24, Governor Kay Ivey and the Higher Education Partnership declared the day to be Sept.1 in a press conference on Aug. 24.“College Colors Day provides an opportunity to see the stories of success that our universities have brought to individuals and communities across Alabama.” Says Higher Education Partnership Executive Director Gordon Stone..
