An initial bid to convert the premises in Knightswood was rejected but the applicants have returned with a new application.
Fresh plans to turn a church hall in Knightswood into a restaurant have been launched, after an initial bid was refused by Glasgow City Council.
The prospective tenants want to open a “cafe/restaurant that will operate seven days per week, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner”. Planning permission to use the empty hall as a restaurant and hot food takeaway has been requested by Lockhart Amin. The plans state the property was marketed in 2022 by its then owner, the Christian Brethren, and then re-marketed by the current owner.
