French president Emmanuel Macron told Europe 1 that her stance was a 'very radical' one to have taken, which was 'likely [to] antagonize societies'.

On Monday, September 23, 2019, Greta Thunberg addressed heads of state and government who had gathered in New York for the UN climate summit. The 16-year-old Swedish climate activist tweeted yesterday that she, along with 15 other children across the globe, had filed a legal complaint. The complaint alleges that the inaction of Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, and Turkey in regards to global warming violated the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
