The deal also opens up opportunities for cross-promotion, Fremantle added, including in digital and printed media and publishing of Oliver’s books. Bertelsmann, which also owns Fremantle, has a hefty publishing arm. “We’re incredibly excited to be starting a new chapter for Jamie Oliver programming and lifestyle content in Germany, working closely and expanding our relationship with RTL Deutschland,” said Maximillian Bolenius, Senior Vice President Distribution, German speaking Europe & Israel at Fremantle.
