A new wellness project is providing mental health and primary healthcare services for recently resettled Afghans in the U.S.

The initiative was launched by the Afghan Medical Professionals Association of America, an organization that supports U.S. resettlement efforts in a culturally competent manner.The free helpline — available 24 hours a day, seven days a week — is the result of AMPAA's partnership with Healis Health, a Telehealth platform, powered by grant funding from the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
